Stan and his wife Ann lived in the old Carrville Post Office during the 1950s-1960s and raised their three children there. Stan took these photos in the 1960s.

Scope and content

File consists of a photograph of the Carrville Public School (School Section #3) located next to where Vince and Jean Del Brocco lived, opposite the Carrville Church. School was closed down and demolished shortly after 1960. Also included is a picture of the ruins of the old Reaman log cabin that used to stand on the edge of the creek, opposite the Carrville Post Office and hidden from the road. Third, a photo of Ann and their three children, Daniel (in the apple tree) Abigail and Adam holding a cat in the garden behind the house. Ann wrote is was "quite a wild field, we had no money for a lawn mower but we enjoyed the land. Must have been about 1967. The children were born, 59, 61 and 63. Now all have PhDs. Daniel is with the World Bank, in Colombia, Abigail with Microsoft in Cambridge, UK and Adam is a Professor in Merida, Mexico".
