Custodial history

Full name of artist unknown. The Teston post office and general store was built by George Wilson, the first postmaster, in 1855. It officially opened on Aug. 18, 1865. Later, an addition was added on the south of the building to house the store separately. The post office closed for rural mail delivery on Jan. 30, 1926. The buidling has since been used for private residences and businesses.
