File consists of videocassettes. Bygone Vaughan is constituted of the following segments: story of Vaughan's settlement; special events and pioneer traditions; Black Creek Pioneer Village; history of pioneer transportation; history of area fairs and festivals; municipal government; Lorne Levy interviews; Jessie Bryson, past president of Vaughan Historical Society. Format is a series of stills, photographs and portraits, with contemporary footage, as well as museum living history interpretations, and narrative commentary.

Photographs depict two examples of radial street cars, one in side view, the other a frontal view with the following individuals appearing before the vehicle: James Muirhead, Reeve of North York, Jacob Lunau, Reeve of Richmond Hill, Wesley Gohn, Reeve of Markham, James Robson, Reeve of Vaughan; this latter photograph was executed on the occasion of the opening of the North Yonge Railways. Accompanying material includes photocopies of photographs of radial streetcars and newspaper clippings relating to the opening and closing of the line
