Mayor Lorna Jackson's Funeral Video [object]

Item consists of one VHS videotape "Funeral of Lorna Jackson, 2002" which contains the televised video of the former Mayor's funeral in April of 2002. The film was produced by Rogers Television and is approximately 75 minutes in length. The funeral itself was one of several which took place in the Old Civic Centre and contains speeches from previous City of Vaughan staff including Scott Sommerville who was the City Manager from 1978-2002.

Item consists of a photograph. Depicted is Dr. F. W. Routley, who practiced medicine in Maple from 1909 to 1922, and for 27 years was chief executive officer of the Canadian Red Cross Society, and contributed to the Blue Cross Plan for hospital care which began in 1941. The vehicle he is driving appears to be a Ford Model T and is situated in the vicinity of Major Mackenzie Drive and Keele Street.

Item consists of a photograph depicted is a biplane after landing on a snow-covered field in Maple. Aircraft is notable for its landing gear which consist of skis. The Auberge Inn may be seen in the upper right-hand corner of the image.
