Fonds consists of images taken by Ms Pacchiarotti in an unofficial capacity documenting the presentation of original 1868 architectural plans of the Vellore School by the Vaughan Township Historical Society to Archives Vaughan in 1989 Dec., and the completion of the new archives facility earlier in the same year.

File consists of a group of photographs constituted of images depicting various scenes in a number of Vaughan Township hamlets, enclaves, and police villages: Edgeley Side Road, Edgeley Post Office, Concord United Church, Thornhill Station, Grand Trunk Railway Station in Maple, as well as general scenes of Carrville and Patterson; also includes images of Smith family of Edgeley engaged in curing meat in front of their smoke-house. In total, photographs capture flavour of rural-agrarian life in late-19th to early-20th century Vaughan Township.

Watercolour of Woodbridge Agricultural and Machine Works

Item consists of a watercolour. Image depicts Woodbridge Agricultural and Machine Works, western elevation; includes images of workmen standing in fornt of the factory, thus providing a sense of scale; evidence suggests that the plant opened in 1849, and for the next 36 years played a significant role in the growth and prosperity of the village; by 1874, the factory employed 200 men. In 1880 and 1881 Abell's Triumph Tractor Steam Engine was awarded the Gold Medal in tests at the Toronto Industrial Exhibition, and it received awards of distinction at the 1886 Colonial and Indian Exhibition in London, England. Abell relocated his plant to Toronto in 1885 as a direct consequence of the Toronto, Grey, and Bruce Railway's refusal to construct a switch line from the main line to his factory.

File consists of 2 photographs. Hope School was built ca. 1864 on the west half of Lot 28, Conceesion 3, and closed in 1967. The Edgely United Church was built in 1877; with the union of the Methodist churches, Edgeley became attached to the Maple circuit; it was closed in 1961, and demolished in 1969.
