File consists of photographs that depict the Langstaff Industrial Farm, a provincially administered prison work farm, 1914 and a colonial-style house in the final stages of construction in Langstaff, 1912; also depicted is a scene showing workers departing a hayfield on the Thornhill Industrial Farm upon completion of their day's labour, ca. 1900.

File consists of photographs that focus for the most part upon the Inkerman and Gilmour hotels in Woodbridge, providing excellent views of the facade, including a fine study of a group of carpenters and labourers in front of the Inkerman House (hotel); also includes an image, partially obscured by foliage, of the Howland Mills in Kleinburg; image of the Beaverbrook House in Maple, birthplace of Baron (a.k.a Lord) Beaverbrook, is also present.

Item consists of a support document for tour of architectural structures attributable to the "plain people" - Mennonites, Dunkards, Quakers, Amish, and Maravians - who settled in above-noted areas during the early 1790's to 1820's; includes brief history of said denominations; bulk of document comments upon building methods and materials, architectural styles favoured, and general architectural and historical significance of a number of structures.
