Item consists of one (1) program, given out during Employees Annual Service Awards Dinner in June of 1994. The dinner honoured the service of employees from the City of Vaughan, Vaughan Hydro and Vaughan Public Library, noting 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of service.

File consists of photographs. Photographs originate from the Northway-Gestalt Collection of the Archives of Ontario; this particular selection focuses on the Woodbridge area for the most part, with some good coverage of central Thornhill; some exceptional views of the Humber River are evident in the photograph group depicting Woodbridge; also depicting in a series of four photographs is Highway #400 at its point of intersection with Highway #7.

Bowes family fonds [Textual record]

Fonds consists of a speech given by Ms. Rumble on the occasion of the unveiling of a plaque, located on the site of the original Bowes homestead, commemorating the contribution of the Bowes to the area. The Bowes line is traced back to 16th century England, but the speech principally concentrates on the descendants of Anthony Bowes (1789-1870), who settled on Lot 3, Concession 2, Vaughan Township in 1831. Fonds also includes a family tree and history of the Bowes and Maxwell families, with particular emphasis on William Maxwell, son of Anthony and Ellen, and his wife, Ann. Other properties of note are Lot 7, Concession 2, Lot 10, Concession 3 and Lot 11, Concession 3.

Cober Family Letters

Collection consists of 1 scrapbook with approximately 80 letters and envelopes by the Cober Family. Many of the letters are addressed to Peter Cober, the son of Nicholas, George Cober, and Peter A. Cober, the grandson of Nicholas. Also included in the accession are a poster for an auction sale of the farm of Jacob B Cober (c. 1857, 1863, 1868, 1874, 1885, 1891), a letter for Abitibi Mines Limited, a notice for a meeting of the International Baker Heirs Association and a Tax Notice from 1931 for Peter Cober.

Fonds consists of indentures, land deeds, tax assessments, correspondence, insurance forms, by-laws, leases, notices, ledgers, and bank books. Fonds also includes the last will and testaments of Jacob Snider and James Mathewson.

Constable family school records collection [Textual records]

Collection consists of school records belonging to Bruce, Herbert, Mary and George Constable. Records consist of assignments, test and examination papers, notebooks, day planners, textbooks, a pocket dictionary, daily attendance registers for Vaughan Township School S.S. No. 9 (Vellore School) and various handwritten notes. Also included are miscellaneous private records such as church programs, a playbill for a performance, a booklet containing baking recipes, newspapers and periodicals, an auto insurance card issued to John W. Constable and a box of candy.
