Item consists of a photoessay. The round house was reputedly built by Adam or Jacob Rupert in 1837. Octagonal shape of structure attributable to concerns re: heat and circulation space, and conservation of building materials; located lot 21, concession 4, Maple, Ontario.

File consists of photographs that focus for the most part upon the Inkerman and Gilmour hotels in Woodbridge, providing excellent views of the facade, including a fine study of a group of carpenters and labourers in front of the Inkerman House (hotel); also includes an image, partially obscured by foliage, of the Howland Mills in Kleinburg; image of the Beaverbrook House in Maple, birthplace of Baron (a.k.a Lord) Beaverbrook, is also present.

Item consists of a videocassette. Interview conducted by Gary McMahan of Heritage Vaughan member Gordon Miller. Heritage Vaughan, the City of Vaughan's Local Architectural Advisory Committee to Municipal Council, as represented by G. Miller, objected strenuously to Council's decision to approve the demolition of the Woodbridge Hotel in 1996, the sole remaining commercial structure possessing heritage significance in the City of Vaughan.
