Fonds consists of an 1856 agreement between Zoar Primitive Methodist Chapel Building Committee, of which Richard Agar was a member, and J.D. Bird for construction of chapel, with accompanying structural specifications; also 1890 annual report of Knox Presbyterian Parish, Elder's Mills, Vaughan Township, and 1904-1908 annual reports of Nashville Presbyterian Parish, Nashville, Vaughan Township, sundry tax assessment records, 1884-1946, histories of the Zoar Primitive Methodist Church, ca. 1982-1985, map outlining Agar property holdings ca. 1878, and published monographs: History of old time Primitive Methodism in Canada 1829-1884, 1904, Primitive Methodist hymn book, 1863, and Nashville Presbyterian Church Sunday School attendance certificates for Gilbert Agar.

Collection consists of 3.5cm of textual materials, including paperwork regarding Mennonite Consciencious Objectors newsletters from work camps, non-resistant Relief Organization letters, National War Services Regulations and information regarding the Baker and Cober farms. Of particular interest is a 1918 letter to the Commanding Officer at Exhibition Camp, Toronto, regarding Isaac Baker, asking for his release from military service.

Accompanying material includes lists identifying individuals in images and emphemera in form of vest pocket mileage guide, 1926 and copy of street map of City of Toronto, ca. 1920.
