Item consists of an essay written to fulfil part of the requirements for course North American Immigration and Ethnic History (AK Hist 4100.06 North American Immigration and Labour History). Comments upon the ethnic, religious, and economic composition of Woodbridge over time, as well as settlement patterns.

Item consists of an account ledger used by an unknown person or family to record daily expenses and the number of stock born each year. The names of many people also appear throughout the ledger when the owner of the ledger either sold them items, stock, services or paid them wages. Book gives a good example of the cost of everyday items (ex. sugar, apples, bread, eggs, lemons, oil cloth, curtains, paper, starch) as well as the type of items available at that time and their change in value over time. Ledger was also used by a child for scribbling and writing practice.

File consists of maps compiled as part of a York University Geography course, 1984. Three sets of 2 maps (1 each of Vaughan and King Township per set); the first set delineates land use per 1000 acre blocks; the second indicates the names of landowners/tenants; the final set outlines the number of horses, oxen, cattle, sheep, and swine per 1000 acre block. All maps are based on the 1851 nominal and agricultural census returns.
