J.H. Robson in his political career, which spanned the period 1925-1953, was a Vaughan Township councillor, deputy reeve, and reeve, in addition to stints on the municipality's Board of Health, and the Finance and Welfare Committee.

Scope and content

File consists of 2 photographs. One photoprint depicts the Township offices on Keele Street south of Major Mackenzie Drive. The structure was of brick, constructed in 1908, with its southern half occupied by the township offices, and the northern half by the Standard Bank; building demolished in 1957. Second photoprint captures images of Vaughan Township officials John Hostrawser, James H. Robson, Boynton Weldrick, R.W. Scott, Carl Shaw, and W.O. McDonald.
