Item consists of a videocassette. Documentary chronicling the history surrounding the Jacob Fisher Oak Tree, currently preserved under the Ontario Heritage Act. The tree was reputedly used for target practice by local insurgents participating in the Rebellion of 1837.

Item consists of the story of Sarah Saunder's parents, George Holland born in Yorkshire, England in 1812, and Olivia Kellam, born in Leicestershire, England in 1817. The Kellam family settled in Vaughan Township in 1829 and George and Olivia met in Toronto. They married Dec. 30, 1833. They later moved to Goderich, Ontario and then back to Vaughan and then to Haldimand County. Story provides insight into the hard and dangerous life of the early pioneers and their encounters with local wildlife and Indigenous History as well as their experience as Rebels during the 1837 Rebellion.
