Item consists of an edition of The Woodbridge and Vaughan News. This edition includes numerous articles re: the history of Woodbridge; specifically, articles comment upon the architectural history of Woodbridge, demographic development, the Woodbridge Library and Post Office, Hurricane Hazel, prominent community members such as Rowland Burr, Dr. Garnet McClean, and John Abell, etc. Includes numerous halftones depicting various subject matter, including rare images of the Abell Agricultural Works.

Item consists of the Burrlington Site Plan 132B, showing Lot 31, Concession 9 of present day Kleinburg. The tracing dates back to 1855 and shows the property of Rowland Burr.

Also of note: 6 original letters of Vaughan's earliest settlers describing life in the area, 1843-1860.

Item consists of one (1) handwritten scrapbook titled "Woodbridge, Ontario", believed to have been authored by Maie Told for a grade 10 school project. The scrapbook contains information regarding the early settlers of Woodbridge, the War Memorial Tower, Rowland Burr, Early Industries, the first Woodbridge Church, as well schools, banks and hotels. Also included within the scrapbook are seven (7) black and white postcards, depicting various scenes of Woodbridge.
