School constructed in 1955 to replace facility of the Maple School, School Section # 6; the first Maple School was built in 1861 and along with the old Maple Presbyterian Church building served the Maple community until 1896, when the two structures were demolished and a two-room brick school was constructed; the George F. Bailey School was originally a four-room structure, with an additional four rooms being added in 1958.
