Established in 1928, the Vellore Euchre Club was extant for 63 years, the last meeting being held 1991 May 6. The club acted in a philanthropic capacity, with donations to organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation being made annually. The club is an example of the types of organizations dealt with by the Vaughan Senior Citizens' Cabinet, the latter being established as a means of liaison between the area's various seniors organizations.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of single minute book delineating deliberations and decisions and is fragmentary.
