Fonds consists of evidence of the organization, functions, and activities of the municipality's constituent bodies, elected and appointed. Specific areas of jurisdiction and activity delineated include: local ordinances, elections, county and provincial relations, finance and accounting, legal matters, judicial affairs, police and fire protection, municipal planning, public works, hydro-electric service, education(S.S. #14), libraries, licencing, public health and welfare, statistical gathering, records custodianship, recreation, and housing.

Item consists of election returns. Map of Vaughan Township indicating freeholders and householders for each lot with assessed value of real property for which the foregoing were rated; relative location of property owners not shown. Map indicates the exact vote cast by each eiligible voter in the Township, and thus provides a cumulative portrait of the political leanings of the township during the time under examination. Data derived from Vaughan Township election returns and collectors' rolls for 1857.

M020.2 consists of a signed version of the Vaughan Accord and one copy. The Vaughan Accord commits all members of Council to serving the City of Vaughan in a manner which reflects a positive image of the City and instills civic pride. The Accord outlines Council's commitment and dedication to the task of city-building and states that "a vibrant and successful city depends on a Council that is prepared to work together, constructively, and always in the best interest of the City of Vaughan." The Accord was endorsed at a special ceremony on December 4, 2018.

Accession M023.4 consists of a 3D printed bust of former Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua.

Accession M023.5 consists of a catalogue of city-owned properties. It has photos of specific properties and lists their estimated value in 1994.

Accession M023.6 consists of textual records relating to the evolution of City of Vaughan, such as handbooks, historical notes and the December 2013 ice storm.

Accession M023.7 consists of a crest of the City of Vaughan that was given to former Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua for his service from 2010 to 2022, also known as the Chain of Office.

Accession M023.8 consists of documents detailing the historic incorporation of the City of Vaughan, as well as a Community Profile of the City in 1991.

Accession M024.5 consists of a pin in a case for the Order of Vaughan and the program from an investitute ceremony.
